I have a 14 year old son named Aaron and a 3 year old daughter named Amber.
Well as siblings do no matter the age gap... the meet in the middle intellegence wise and argue!!!
Well mine were verbally exchanging the wonderful Idea of "is to... is not" battle of the ages....
My solution 'throw' a light plastic cup at each of my kids.....
My daughter picked up the cup and binged her brother in the head and so started the 'throw the harmless cup at each other game"
At least they shut up about the is-to's

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Of course all the arguments and fights we got into when I was growing up were my fault. I got to be the scapegoat. My brothers don't hold a grudge. Sister?? Maybe one reason she lives in GA!!
Maybe my mom should have thrown something at our heads! Well, at least mine!!
Ya but did mom facilitate the direction your fun went or break it up????
My daughter just came and told on her brother that he was poking her... (I know he wouldnt hurt her) so I told her to go poke him back....
I am finally getting a taste of what parents go throught with siblings as mine can both talk now...
What I find funny is the 14 year old actually acts like a defiant 3 year old... (the way he was at 3 himself actually lol)
I told my son as part of his 16 year old turning of age rite he was getting a swirly too... (told him MAYBE ill clean it first lol- of cource I will)
We actually have a list going of those willing to help and its got about 5 people on it... We know he wont go easily lol and he is rather strong lmao
Now what kind of a mom plans that 2 years in advance lol
Im feeling like a rather twisted mom lol but I do love em at least ;p
Guess what!! They did and I am stuck raising "my kids" all over again!!! Life's on a wheel, my friend!!!
My brother (2nd oldest) amazes me when he recalls our childhood...talks about me on the playground praising my personality and how I was so caring and kind to others. He said "that is the sister I remember." THAT meant more to me than I could put into words. I look back and tend to see the BP side of me...the fights, the mood swings, the anger...now my sis I'm sure sees things a lot differently.
Well, thank God for my bros. I love them so much!
Buggy - you sound like a fun mom! I don't remember my mom being fun!
Yes he is ADHD and has conduct disorder and some social issues... but truth is when he is with her he is usually very much caring and attentive... he just 'plays' on her level. She has actually been very good therapy for him. He never shows affection for anyone really part of his conduct disorder... but she doesnt know that and she forces him to engage him in play. And to my amazement he does so with so much love. He only get internet time at my house and he gives up a lot of the time to play with her. When he is here she is with him MOST of the time. He gives her a controler for his game and she thinks she is playing too... I wrote a really sweet journal about them earlier this week.... its worth a peek.
now that weve grown up, were best mates now..cant have it always..
