I very seldom ever post on a discussion like this, except to say that it will get better.

This time I will telkl you that my best friend in High School had Spina Bifida (paralyzed from the waist down) and she would have said the same thing. She would rather have had her Spinal injuries than my BP.

I don't have spina bifida... but I do have scoliosis and had it opperated on 4 times. I don't know which would be worse, probibly having both at the same time. look at it that way

ooooh... ms... my dad has ms.... tough call on that one... both at the same time... i think my dad may be bp... i still wouldnt want to risk it... ms+bp = winner

I've had breast cancer..treatment..and a crappy reconstruction job(that was never completed,because the insurance company stopped covering family memebers.)I'd rather have all the cancer and all that done again 4 x's over again.....than be bipolar.
Bipolar has robbed me of more of the quality of my life ,than breast cancer ever did.

Some neurologists think I may have MS...depends on which doc you talk to. I do have bells palsey when i'm under extreme stress it seems.

i dont know i have 2 operations to go for that i have been puttin of for ages but i might just go for them tomorrow if the told me they would take away the bipolar , this used to be a fun roller coaster but now its spiraled out of control !!

sorry to keep bumping -- great, ms is hereditary and all my dad's siblings and my dad have it (of course they all lived at white sands proving grounds as kids, too)

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
