Okay, this is going to sound totally weird, but I need some advice. Is this something I should be concerned about? Something I should talk to my pdoc about? Or is this just part of my weird personality. I've never told anyone this before and I'm scared to do it. Please don't think of me as completely insane. Nevermind, I know you will anyway.
Sighs. Here goes nothing. I'm almost twenty years old and I've had an imaginary horse in my backyard since I was like...9. The horse changes. I am constantly having to "buy" a new imaginary horse for various reasons. I steal pictures of people's horses and say that it is my horse. I go outside for hours and spend time with my imaginary horse. Thing is, I know it's imaginary. I don't know. Should I confess this secret to my pdoc and my tdoc? Is it a symptom of some severe mental illness? Or is it just me?
Thanks...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
As long as it is not harming you or others.
Could you live with that in your life
without it affecting you negatively ?
Or others ?
Keep the stuff that makes you feel alive.Kick out the negative shit.
I have had imaginary people I take with me all the time - since I was about 4. I have pictures of people right now, next to the computer, who watch me to see what I do. How ridiculous is That?
Makes your horse sound kinda Normal - y'know? (and where else could I confess something like THAT, and not weird people out?)
I also wonder if you haven't had a desire to have a real horse all your life. Maybe you just like to pretend..(by the way, it's lots cheaper!)
The only thing that worries me, is that it worries YOU.
I have wanted a horse all of my life. And the only reason it really worries me is because I will go outside for hours to be with this horse that doesn't exist instead of spending time with the people and animals in my life that DO exist.
