My almost 39 year old brother was recently diagnosed with what he says is hyper mania, but I now realise is B.P.. He has the religiosity. One day he is mormon, the next he is roman catholic and at one point he may have been buddhist. He also obsesses over women. That's all he ever thinks about when he is not being super religious. Reading the posts of all of the members here has really opened my eyes to the fact that my brother is not just being a manipulative individual. My brother is currently on a medical hold in the process of being discharged from the army due to his B.P.. I have conviced him to come stay with me, so that he will have a family support system until he gets on his feet. I have 4 children (sometimes 5). Apparently my brother had an absolute melt down after being awake for 3 days straight. This is what caused him to be hospitalized while he was stationed in Germany. I am just wondering if there are any measures I should take to prevent any other melt downs, or if his medications will prevent that?
