When I'm broke, I like to look at everything I have left lying around in my kitchen...and then see what I can make!
Hamburgers
How about spaghettti? Pasta, some sauce ( Barilla is a good one) and some ground beef or turkey...you've got yourself a good dinner!

BBQ steak, chicken, vegetables
Have blenndeer? Make slurpies with proteein powder and banana or mixed berries. Holds you for 4 hours. TV dinners if you are a guy get the big ones. Canned fruit. Deli sides, tubbed mash potatoes, instant oatmeal, cereal and milk,
Spray with PAM or something like it. Put in two cups of water, one cup of rice (and maybe a chicken boulion cube crumbled up). Place two chicken breasts on top, or 4 chicken thighs, and pour a whole bottle of spagetti sauce (whatever flavor you want).
Bake at 350, It's done when the chicken is done all the way through and the rice is tender.
Open face tuna melt. Make up your tuna to your liking, mayo, mustard, a little ground basil perhaps?
Spread on two peices of bread. Put cheese on top. Put the bread cheese up on the cookie sheet (or whatever it is) and put under the broiler until the cheese bubbles.
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can of cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup of water
2 cups of frozen vegetables
3/4 cups of uncooked long grain white rice
Put in casserole dish along with seasoning . Bake at 425 for roughly an hour.
