Hi,
I am bipolar and have anxiety. I am on Lamictal 200, clonzepan .5 twice a day, paxil 80 , and wellbutrin xl 300. I am tired all the time and have no energy. I am not depressed. And I know all these meds make you drowsy except the wellbutrin xl. I sleep 12 to 13 hours a night and take naps. When I was young I would sleep that much too , but I was depressed. I wasn't on meds then. My doc doesn't think that the meds are making me tired. So I went to a neurolgist and he said I have narcolepsy , periodic leg movement , and sleep apnea. I had all the sleep studies done. I want to know if it is my meds that are making me tired or if I have narcolepsy. My neurolgist knows all the meds that I am on and he doesn't think its the meds. He put me on Provigil 200mg 3 times a day. I have been on it for 8 days. I don't really see a difference. He also put me on requip for the periodic leg movement. Does anyone have that problem ? Help Please!!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am not on any medication for it. I was told to exercise and stretch. Hugs to you
I know this is not an answer but I know what it is like to be fatigued all the time and shake at night. xx
My daughter takes Lamictal, Lithium and Adderall (Provigil is somewhat similar to Adderall, I believe.) The Adderall has helped to snap her out of feeling excessively tired. She tried Provigil briefly, but didnt have same effect with her.
She also has anxiety. She takes Neurontin (Gabapentin) to help with that rather than Wellbutrin or Paxil, which both induced mania/insomnia for her.
When she was on Geodon a few months back, she took Cogentin for leg movement/cramps.
I feel so bad that you have to take soooo many meds to do so many different things!
Try eating as healthy a diet and getting exercise too. I know its hard with no energy.
