I've been going through hell the last four months because every blood test I have my liver function os out of line and increases each test. Well I did a little research into all the meds I am currently taking and the only drug that can cause liver function to be abnormal is my clonazepam.
Funny thing is, as I've been stressing about my liver function ive been slowly upping my dosage of clonazepam to stay calm! After my second visit to emerg this week the gave me a scrip for zyprexa which also causes liver problems. Guess which two drugs are getting thrown out today?
What really pisses me off is that my pdoc and family doc haven't caught on that maybe it's my tranqs that are futzing me up. I'll be telling both of them about this little issue next time I see them.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I am so glad that you have the smarts to check it out!!! And you can bet I'd be telling somebody about it, too!!!
Is there something else that you can take instead?? Especially if you need the tranqs.

Nana I'd rather not take anything if at all possible but know that I'm not superman and can't always be 100%. I just hate that they don't seem to care about side effects and their long term effect on people.
Sounds like they need the Cuppa Wake Up call.
You'll know then cos they will talk more with you rather than AT you.
Assert yourself because it's YOU that feels it.
I even say that to them.

Log any dates with a small note explaining the idiocy.
That way in the future you can bring their attention back to the last gripe you had about them.
They'll soon buck their ideas up.
It's not wrong of us to want a document ourselves reflecting the truth as WE see it.
It damaged my thryoid and I know it can affect your kidneys. That's why you need to go once a year and have those two tested.
