My husband comes here for support, and obviously it is doing some good I just wanted you all to know that I appreciate what you all do for him.
He is unaware that I have signed up, and I was wondering what it is that I can do to help him with this illness.
Sometimes I do not even believe it is real, and I know that is hard for you all to understand, but I am trying to understand.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
It seems as if he uses it as an excuse sometimes.
I think he should be worried about you, not the other way round.
Coming on here is a great step to understanding what's going on with your husband.
Like others have said, learn all you can about bp & try to be involved in your husbands treatment, working together can make it a lot easier to understand & from my experience it can strengthen a relationship.
Good on you for wanting to understand. There's a Friends & Family of Bipolar community on here as well, it's not as fast paced as this one but there are lots of us who love people with bp. You're not alone :)
Is there a carers/supporters group near you ? would be a good start
