My 12-year-old stays at home watching TV while I take my 8-year-old to summer school. He knows not to answer the phone or front door. I make sure he's locked in (he could get out if there was a fire) before I leave. Well, I came back and said Hi Zane I'm home, no answer so I thought he was probably engrossed in a computer game. Long story short I searched the whole house and no Zane. I went to all the neighbours houses where he plays, nothing. By now I'm feeling sick to my stomach and make a frantic call to my husband, a firefighter coming off shift. I was hysterical and told him Zane was missing. He said, he's here with me. Apparently my husband needed some fasting blood drawn and had come home and taken Zane with him to get him off the computer. He said he meant to call me but forgot. I put the phone down and threw up, I'm still shaking. I realized I hadn't hugged either of my kids this morning. So hug the heck out of your kids and say you love them 100 times a day! Sorry for rattling on but you are all my friends and I needed to write this down. Thanks for those who "listen"
