It sounds like you are getting the rash. I would call your pdoc or the dr on call right away and see if you should stop taking it. The rash can be fatal, as you probably know, so you shouldn't be taking it.I got the rash on my arms, they would go away and then the next dose of Lamictal they would come back. My pdoc took me off it That was a bummer because that stuff made me feel sooooooo good.

i would call the doctor... pdoc or regular and it is a very good idea to have that looked at just in case its that steven johnsons rash.. could possibly be dangerous..when i had a regular rash from spider bites, my doc had me come in just in case since i am taking lamictal

Yep. The rash. Never did it to me though. Got a little spotty for a day then quit. Just see your gp just in case. Steven johnson is rare. Rashes in general arent. And they can come and go. Better to be safe than sorry though.

The rash!! That's exactly what happened to me. You're gonna have to switch to another mood stabilizer...chances are you won't miss a beat and you'll adjust to the new one just fine. I take trileptal and it's comparable to Lamicatil...except it helps regulate anger a little more...which never hurts ;)

I sould use some anger management

Lillian, please contact doc a.s.a.p....As for hives, you can use benedryl. Just don't let the doc talk you into prednisone~I swear that crap whacked me out in April! Love,Jess

I also take lamictal and yes, I also have the rash. It comes and goes. I only get it on my legs and arms though. I talked to my dr. and he wasn't concerned. He told me to take benadryl to help it, but to continue taking the medication. He did tell me that if the rash worsens or if my tongue becomes enlarged to go to the ER ASAP. Hope this helps....

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
