Today while trying to help my daughter make up the 12 days of work that she has missed (12 days of "I'm sick" and the school calling to send her home due to her incessant complaints), and she is mocking me, dissing me and talking back. I stop and give her one of those "mother looks of anger" and SHE LAUGHS AT ME! Not the "I'm just messing with you" laughs. The "Ha, watcha gonna do now. Gotchya! " laughing at me laughs. Its COLD. This is the second time this has happened. It feels a bit psychotic. One minute she's arguing, or crying. The next she's like the Joker from Batman, laughing in this condescending way! What the hell? She'll take something of mine, break it or lose it, and give the same type of response... indifferent. Then the next moment, she's the one who is getting me a blanket to rest on the couch, or a drink of water, or something to eat. I'm freakin out! Has anyone witnessed this or done this? It's like a bully would react after he makes a kid fall in a mud puddle....

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
