Hello. Could you message me if you know what Kingsolver is referring to in her novel ... she makes reference to the "Voltaire" (sp) principle? I read the first half of the book, but now I am listening to it at work and am going to write a paper about it for a work goal assignment. I know it refers to nature, pesticides, etc, but I need to know how to spell it in order to Google it or if any science types know what it is. Thanks. Btw, I sit and process loans all day, so this project is exciting to me.
