Hi..I do not have bi polar disorder but the woman my dad is dating does and she is tearing our family apart. I have done a lot of research to understand this disease so I can be supportive. Is it common for a person with this disorder to lie about horrible things that have happened to them?

hate to say it, but when i was unmedicated i could probably have torn a family apart in one way or another. not on purpose either. just thinking everyone was against me would be enough.

i don't know. it sounds really complicated.
