I have read about EVERY book out there on BP & teen PB out there (ME and my 13 yr old daughter have it). We are going through some really tough times now and my husband has heard me practically read everything to him and stuff but STILL doesn't "get it"....He thinks that all of the time we're copping out or making excuses and using bipolar for an excuse...He just doesnt get that sometimes it's unmanageable & out of control. HOW do I get through to him??? I have shown him DVD's VCR tapes and still no "I get it aha!"...I can't even imagine trying to get my 15 yr old daughter to understand her sister's bipolar issues & behaviors.....It's sooooo hard to explain that it's a DISEASE not an attitude! He does a lot for us and does care but he's so logical and straight forward and this is so bizzare for him. Help!! Please if you can!!
