My best friend has just been hospitalized for BP. I have no idea how long he'll be in there, and his rent is due in a few days. How do I go about helping him with his finances while he's in the mental hospital? Should I contact a social worker? Can I legally get him out of his lease? My friends & I have the key to his apartment, but we don't know whether to move his stuff out or not. If he'll be hospitalized for more than a month, then he won't have enough money to pay rent. Anybody have any idea how to deal w/this stuff?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
