I woke up one night thinking I was hearing a cell phone being opened and shut over and over. I could see the light in the bathroom window, but the sound of the cell phone was moving aroung the room. I looked to see if my husband was playing with his phone but he was asleep. As the sound moved around the room, the room got darker and there was no light in the bathroom anymore. When I heard the sound coming around to my side of the bed with darkness following, I raised up, woke up my husband and told him to turn on the light. I told him someone was in the room, as I looked around there was nothing there. He secured my feelings that everything was fine, but it took me awhile to go back to sleep. Now would you define this as an hallucination or what? This is not the first time I have had something happen like this. I am not even stressed out when it happens.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I don't believe that ghosts come back. but...
one morning, shortly before it was time to get up, something woke me up, and there was my deceased mother standing by my husband's side of the bed. I said "Mom?" she never said anything, but I blinked several times. My husband held me close. I closed my eyes for about a minute, opened them, and she was still there.
I guess that was an hallucination, maybe brought on by being only half awake.
A Hypnopompic hallucination is a vivid dreamlike hallucination on awakening
So there it is!
