What's up people? I am going to my first group therapy session tomorrow. I am very nervous. I don't want to have a triggering experience. I love the thought of meeting people I can relate to, but sometimes talking brings up some feelings I haven't totally dealt with, and could bring me too far down. What were your experiences? I know I am probably overexagerating. You make friends that continued outside of the group?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Thanks for posting this... I'd be interested in hearing other people's experiences.
In other words, what keep me going back is how unique that every session is.
Our moderator does a decent job of keeping people to 5 minutes or so, otherwise people tend to ramble on, expecially when they are UP.
Some people just listen. Some people love to talk.
The best thing about it is knowing, hearing, seeing that the way you might be feeling is very near to how many others are feeling.
Good luck, and report back.
Best of luck..
