My wife is living with bipolar and with all the meds that give you weight gain, she is having trouble losing weight, not for a lack of trying. we have been discussing gastric bypass and she is all for it, but I was wondering if anyone with bipolar has had gastric bypass and if it would be safe with the medications she is on. two of these meds are depokote and risperdal, those are the ones that worry me most. any help would be appreciated.
