Ok, for starters, I live in Minneapolis, which was a really great idea for someone who has a problem with bleak weather. But here I sit. It's October (for those of you who weren't aware), and it's been raining, grey, and dark dark dark for a week. I'm good for a few days with no sun, maybe four, but then I lose it. It doesn't help that I know everything is fine, nothing is wrong, I'm not even sad, but I feel like the breath is getting pressed out of me and there's something large, hairy, and scowling standing on my head. My therapist says I should go somewhere sunny for a week once a month, which of course sounds terrifically affordable. I've got the old lightbox on 24/7, am eating, am exercizing, taking all the things you're supposed to take...anyone have even a very basic suggestion for dealing with the lack of light? By February, I'm almost always in the hospital, and if it's starting this early this year...I don't even want to think about it. Help!
