Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Well I walked past this dude's room, his door was all the way open and I could see he was in handcuffs and restraints.
He goes "Dude, you look like you were in the Army."
I was like "No, Marines."
He was like "Awesome man, me too! Semper Fi bro!"
From then on we were joking and talking about our adventures in the Marine Corps. He was really intricate in his stories, naming bases that he was stationed at, gear that we were issued and everything.
About an hour later some nurse comes up to me and sais "So he's been feedsing you that bullshit too?"
I was like "What bullshit?"
She was like "That guy wasn't in the Marines, he tells that astory to everyone."
I've met some bullshitters in my day, and I'm a pretty good bullshitter myself, but this guy really was something. I guess being bipolar really does get those creative juices flowing.
I had made friends with 2 guys (both suicide) and we didnt like the nite staffing. We were allowed 2 hours so we would leave at 7:30 and come back at 9:29.
They would get so upset they always said I had to stay with the boys. Lots of rapes at the campus. It was enjoyable.
The second time I was in the hospital, I was in there with General Robert E. Lee who was drawing up his plans for taking back Montgomery. Now, General Lee wouldn't let anyone near his plans, I and others, guessed was fear of "Yankee spies".
I don't know how a woman would be able to do this in the desert if she was alone.
i had the most fun with my last roommate, april. we used to laugh so hard. we'd get in trouble for knocking on our schizophrenic friend josh's door during the day cuz he was all zonked out on meds.
josh liked to play jenga. we called him "jenga josh." he was out of his mind but such a sweet guy. i listened to him for over an hour one time, about how he is terrified of the color red and that if he walks a hundred steps then the curse will be lifted but the video game mortal combat is stuck in his head and he will fall on spikes if he doesn't walk a hundred paces...
then we'd play candy land. or jenga. he loved those games.
