Do any of you find yourselves wanting to sleep all the time and/or often missing out on obligations and/or social situations where you know you don't HAVE to go? If so, do your friends get upset with you or do they tend to be understanding? I have recently been diagnosed and my lithium makes me tired. Last Friday night, I fell asleep after taking my meds (it was also a long work week) and didn't end up meeting my girlfriends out. I was excited about going, but when it came down to it, I didn't want to go and I knew they'd be getting drunk and I can't drink on my meds. When I woke up, I had a mean/rude text from my friend telling me I didn't live by m word and that I was missing 'a good girls night.' I wanted her to understand that I fell asleep and my meds plus the work week had made my tired. They just don't seem to understand. Anyone else hae this happen?
