Needless to say things went bad. I could tell by the interviewers demeanor and body language that everything was going down in flames. She didn't even really interview me, after the typical questions like "What drugs have you done" and "Have you ever been arrested" she pretty much showed me the door. Meanwhile all the other applicants were still inside getting their interviews.
Let's see, I have no:
1) Job
2) Money
3) Partner
4) Place of my own
Meanwhile my younger brother could check yes next to all of the above things. How pathetic is that...
Whenever someone here contemplates suicide I try to be one of the first ones to talk them out of it, but honestly right now it doesn't look like such a bad idea. I fucking hate life. I hate it so bad right now I can taste it's shitty flavor on my tongue. Cracking open a 12 pack of Miller, with luck I won't remember any of this even happened by tomrorrow.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I have the same "jealousy" of my brother - he's got family, job, home... I have nothing. I know if I go get a job it will last 3 months maybe a year if I'm incredibly lucky. I have no motivation. Hopefully that nasty beer will wipe the shit taste of life off your tongue. =P
Oh ,I'm talented, work hard,intellegent...then BAM..a BP moment ,and it all goes down the toilet!
Keep trying.....
And the beer ,although may make you feel better for awhile(numb to it all)....is not such a good idea.
BP and booze, even beer(espaecialy if you are on meds)don't mix too well.
But you are a big guy....no lectures from me..I've done my share of NUMBING too.
Take care
I totally undestand about wanting to end it....Ive been there too. I know you still have dreams and passion if your so disappinted about the interview. That equates to wanting life.Listen to that part of your heart.
When Im drinking and in the zone your in, Im very dangerous and self destructive....perhaps you could be with a friend tonight? Call someone?
Be safe....take care...we're all here for you.
This is a bad slump... but hope you can see it as a temporary one...
Resumes are mostly lies, when trying to win their hearts at the interview lying is also neccessary. Just don't lie about education and past jobs.
You can omit some of your past jobs though.
Before going on another interview, get with an ADA counselor and go through some interviews. They always try to ask things that they cannot ask.
If they ask those questions, (that they should not), then you probably don't want to work there anyway.
Temporary jobs are the easier way to re-enter the workplace till you find a good job match.
