Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Had another treatment this morning and we taped this one too. This session turned out tons better than the last session and gives you a really good idea of what these ECT (Electric convulsive therapy) treatments looklike.
The shaking you will see me doing in these videos is the seizure itself. My arm flying up into the air is when the electricity was sent into my head.
If anyone has any questions about this treatment, please feel free to ask me anything.
The videos are on my profile in the photo section. The lastest session is broken up into three seperate videos (ECT 10-16-07A, B and C)

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
And yes you are right...it is not for everyone. All I can say is to keep your options open. I never would have seen myself doing these treatments a year ago.
I would suggest talking to your doctor about it if you are interested. If you don't like what you hear or learn, then you certainly can back down.
But I will say there was no other option left and I had no life
HAHAHHA just some of that horrid dobie humor.....
