i suffer from bi-polar, with depression and anxiety..currently i'm taking 2mg of knolpin twice daily for the anxiety, and about a month ago i was placed on 75 mg of effexor xr for my depression.. when i went to get it refilled the doctor decided for me to take 75 mg of effoxer xr for ten more days, then increase the dosage up to 150 mg.. i have seen were the effexor was also being used for anxiety.. is this true.. is the dr trying to have the effexor work for both the depression and anxiety and discontincue the knolpin.. since the knolpin is addicting.. i have been on the knolpin for over a year.. i just cant figure out why he increased the dosage of the effexor without seeing me.. i would appreciate any advice and see if this has worked for anybody, and if anybody has been on effexor for both depression and anxiety..
