Ok - so why is it that when there is some sort of physical health concern, the first thing they want to do is ditch the psych meds? For many it is a matter of life and death psych speaking. I know when I used to work for the health department a lot of doctors who didn't really know a lot about certain meds would ditch them just to be on the safe side when they really didn't need to ditch them at all if they had actually researched the particular drug. Of course the patient is the one that suffers. I just don't get it.
