Hi, I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me. I have a friend who is on disability for depression and her husband has good health benifits through his job. Shouldn't she use her insurance from his work? Isn't disability secondary? She choose not to take the partb (I think that's what she said) cuz they already have excellent benifits.......Does anyone know? Thanks for your help (ahead of time)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Hubby has excellent insurance.
His insurance is primary and Medicare is secondary (if hubby's work had less than 100 people, Medicare would be primary).
If you get part B, they take like $80+ out of your disability each month. I've thought about getting rid of Medicare for years - save the $80 for emergency medical.
HOPE THIS HELPS???
Hugs!!
You will be going to their doctors and most of the time that will mean a long wait for crappy service. But I am sure others here have had some good experience on it.
