does anyone else ever feel like they aren't all there...like detached from their body? i've heard of depersonalization but that sounds like it's more situational or temporary. i'm kind of not here all the time...it's irritating and kind of scary because i hear and see what's going on but nothing sinks in...and there are times when i totally don't see or hear what's in the present moment at all.
does anyone else experience this? how do you get "back" into your body?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The more I healed the less often I'd have those spells and could better stay in the current moment.
the therapist i had when i used to do that said i needed to try to stay grounded when that happened.
do you keeps rocks in your pocket? sometimes that helps. hold the rock in your hand. think about how it feels. describe it to your self in your head.
