I have 6 year old son that shows signs and symtoms of havig bipolar disorder. I mean he has every single classic sign of being bipolar. The docs are just saying that he has ODD and CD, however I have known something wasn't right since he was almost a year old. They are medicating him with bipolar meds, however they won't say its bipolar disorder and they are not offering any advice on how to treat bipolar disorder. I don't know what to do, the meds he is on are toning down the extreme highs and lows we have but the aggression and severe defiance are still there. I don't know if it is because he can't control himself or because he won't. Different environments change his reactions, at school they are worse at home they are not as bad and when his Dad is in the room they are almost non exsistant. We are strict and consistant, but what do you do when NO punishment that is offered works? I have two other sons, one older and one younger that no issues at all. I just feel kinda lost and his issues are causing problems in every area of my life, work, my marriage, and my home life. Any advice??

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
