I am recently diagnosed with BP. I am taking 20mg of Celexa twice a day and was on 250mg of Depakote ER. I started a hypomanic episode despite being on the Depakote so my psych. had me go off the Depakote for a week (which was rough-it was like I was on crack! I think the fact that I was taking Celexa without a mood stabilizer made it worse.) and I just started 25mg of Lamictal on Fri. I am feeling pretty depressed now and am wondering if it's from the Lamictal (I think it's too soon) or just that I'm cycling into a depression after the hypomania? Also, I will start taking 25mg of Lamictal twice a day in two weeks. How long did it take for you to notice a difference and what will it be like with the Celexa? Do you think my psych. might take me off the Celexa after I adjust to the Lamictal and reach the optimum dose for me?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
