Anyone on this? I read it can put bipolar people into mania. I don't read anywhere where it helps with anxiety? This was the reason I was put on it. Is my doctor a Quack? I need something to relax me...

I too am on Celexa. My pdoc gave it to me for my OCD. I have no idea if it helps with anxiety, but OCD is an anxiety disorder.

very interesting. I didn't read anywhere that it helped with OCD or was used to treat it. Maybe I am reading in the wrong places.

I am on a generic of Celexa. It is known to cause mania from what I have heard from 2 docs and a Therapist. It seemed to help with the anxiety when I started a couple of years ago. Worked for the bottom end too but does nothing for the top end. WOOOHOOO!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
