Ok, my husband is bipolar and stopped taking his meds soon after we were married 2 years ago. Since stopping his meds he has spiralled hard and fast. On top of that he has been self medicating with alcohol...ALOT. We seperated mid july and divorce has been filed... there is a restraining order, but he has started taking his meds, stopped drinking 2 weeks ago and joined a support group. He has made some real positive steps, but realistically, what are the chances of reconcilliation?? I must say that up to this point neither of us has ever really even tried to learn about bipolar or the reprecussions... WOW!
