I have been being treated for years for depression. Today I went to a new p-doc - amazingly one who actually listens and cares about more than just what the meds are or aren't doing and getting me in and out in 15 minutes! He diagnosed me as BP and prescribed lamictal. I was doing some reading and I see there are actually two types of BP, BP1 and BP2. What is the difference? I don't think my doc told me which one he diagnosed.
