One of the hardest things I face is a sense of mixed fear/paranoia when it comes to other people. It's frustrating because I know it's irrational but I find it almost impossible to make or keep friends. Initially I have to get past this sense of fear, that everyone is judging me, couldn't possibly like me, think I'm stupid/ugly/insert description, etc. Then if I DO make a friend I get into spirals where I think they're just pretending to like me, or are laughing at me behind my back etc.
Is this something other BPs suffer? I hate feeling alone in the world and destroying friendships because I can't learn to trust people to want to be around me.

Hey everyone, I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 on Friday and I'm really nervous about how a new medication will effect me. Any support regarding med effects (pros and cons) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone else having problems logging in?Started about a week ago, in Firefox when I hit the orange login button it just hangs and 2-3 minutes later I get a message "error in form" or something. However if you reload the page you are then logged in.
I'd say that it is a part of BP and a rawness to the outside world after having been burned inside.
