I have a seven year old that reads at a 5th grade level (Chapter books like those by Beverly Cleary and Junie B Jones). He is also Bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Does anyone know of books, in either language, that I can read with him to start a conversation about his step-father's condition. I think that right now he sometimes feels a little scared not understanding all that is going on. I want him to be able to understand and not internalize his father's mood-swings as having anythig to do with him. Any ideas...the books can be any rading level up to about 5th grade.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
