they say i'm bi polar. i went in today. took a survey. now they want me on meds. i don't understand whats going on. what does being in bi polar mean exactly? i've read about bi polar. but i don't understand. does this mean i'll be unhappy forever? i don't know what to feel or think right now...i'm just sad. help. please.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Meds can help you get into the range of normal emotions. And can help explain why you get to depressed or manic and teach you tools to cope with those moments befor they are destructive
