I was reading an article the other day and talking to my psychiatrist a few weeks ago about the benefits of getting outside and how not getting out enough could be the underlying cause of some depressions! and also Not just for people with a mental condition but for everyone. It actually mentioned some things on how there is such an abundance of mental illness today because people just get up , get in their cars , drive to work get to work come home go on the computer go to the gym..which only provides your body with artificial light. and it went on saying scientifically we arent designed to live in artificial light because our innate survival skills depended on natural light and bein in the wild! My psychiatrist ( who is amazing) actually sold her car and takes the bus everywhere because its done wonders in her life in general... I guess just something to think about. do you guys like exercising in gyms or prefer outdoors and fresh air? Do you notice people hibernating in their homes way more often in the winter?
