"Walk in the sunlight every day for at least the few minutes it takes to remind yourself that the universe is our real timekeeper." Deepak Chapra, M.D.
We live in a world regulated by artificial schedules created for work and industry. Be the time we're adults, a nervous timekeeper lives in our brains, keeping track of our deadlines and, if we let him, keeping us frantic most of the time.
When we give our timekeeper a few days off and step out of these artificial schedules, we have a chance to discover our personal rhythm. That's why after a relaxing vacation, we are peaceful and calm, we're in sync with ourselves.
We can live in that calm every day if we get out into the sunlight and pay attention to nature long enough to remember that we're connected to all things, long enough to realize that our deadlines are not to be taken too seriously, long enough to remember that there is a higher order at work, and according to that schedule, we're always on time and in the right place.
Today I remember that I am part of a bigger picture. Today I will keep my sense of humor about deadlines and demands. Today I will take the pressure off.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
