Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Theory has it, that bipolar episodes may be similar to seizures, in that one little misfire in the brain some where, starts off a whole firestorm of chaotic misfires....and what you are describiing kind of sounds like the "aura" some people who have seizures get, just before one happens.
This theory is why it is thought that some antiseizure medications also work for bp disorder.
So that does reinforce this idea.
