I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
what kind of surgery did you have?
Please tell the Doc about your manic driving. You could endanger other people too. Please look after yourself and take care.

I was supposed to have an incisional hernia repaired but it turned out to be a huge adhesion fron prior surgery so he cut that out...and is it ever sore!
Feel like I am /have to walk on eggshells till hubby has to go to work.
Makes me sick to my stomach having to confront him.
Still scared and alone in this world...why cant he understand? Why doesnt he want to help me instead of pretending nothing is wrong?

Lamictal is a great mood stabilizer for me. I'm going to try to go back on Effexor which until Feb. worked great. Hopefully a break from it will help.
We are ALL different when it comes to meds. But, Janey - ask your Pdoc if you could try Lamictal if possible. Depakote is a great mood stabilizer, but from my experience, Lamictal is better and does not cause weight gain.
Janey, see if your husband can go to therapy appts. with you or will read about Bipolar. I'm guessing he isn't educated and might understand more if he was.
Good luck dear! We're here too.
I will try to talk to doc again and see what he says about Lamictil i think I tried it once before not real sure of anything right now!
Thanks everyone for being here for me it means alot to me! More than you will ever know...
