Hi, I have had what I thought was a 'cold' for weeks now & it has morphed into what I am quite sure to be a nasty case of bronchitis. My chest feels like it is burning, each cough may as well be a breath of fire! My voice is gone now & despite how I loathe going to doctors, I'm afraid I will need antibiotics at this point. My googling to research the safety of interactions of antibiotics & these bipolar medications has turned up nothing. Does anyone know anything about this?
The medications I am most concerned about as far as interactions the go are Lamictal, Topamax & Seroquel.
Thank you kindly for any info!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I'm off to the clinic now. Hope everyone else is at the mall & I wont have to wait ;)
Only had to spend about 4 hours there (yippee!) Well, the DX IS Bronchitis, but it is the viral type, so no antibiotics for moi. I've got some inhaler thing, some prescription capsules called "Benzonatate" & he recommended Muccinex D along with Robitussin. He checked everything for interactions & was pretty thorough about that.
Oh, I learned something interesting today. I was Id'ed when I went to purchase the over the counter Muccinex D! Apparently every sale of these medicines is documented including the persons name, address, etc. because meth labs have become such a problem in my state! WOW.
