Just to let those who know me I am seeing my daughter once a month on the 4th Sunday of every month for an hour. Got to see her last Sunday and she brought me a card that she had made. She will be 11 in March and she seemed a little bored with the stuff they had to do in that room. All of the toys are for toddlers. I have brought board games and crafts but she seems to be bored of that too. Does anyone have any ideas of something we can do in an hour in room while being supervised?

Good luck
Glad you are getting to see her.:)
guess it really depends on the child; Like, her particular bent, interests at the moment. Kinda in between age, I guess. Give her space to be 'bored' if that's where she's at, yeah? Maybe try & remember what you were like at 11 & keep things really, really light for these visits. & some more free advice- do not pry/interrogate her about her life without you. Good luck.
