I dont know how I missed this, but the government tried to cut Medicare reimbursements to physicians by 10 percent effective July 1. A bill to block this action was sent to Pres. Bush, who vetoed it. Today the House already overrode the veto with only a few no votes. The Senate is expected to follow later today. There is still time to contact your US Senators asking them to vote for the override. Medicare reimbursements are already pitiful, especially to mental health providers. Please don't let things get any worse and jeapordize our access to decent care while we are on disability.
