Alright, I haven't been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. At one point my therapist thought I could be. My mother does have Bipolar disorder so it is a possibility. For the past everal weeks I've been excessively tired, and as far as mood goes it fluctuates. but I was falling asleep constantly, and could parely get through a day without taking a nap. Yesterday, my energy levels changed drasticly. I was energetic, didn't come home or take a break and I was super productive. and today was the same.
There are a few things I have taken into account that could have factored into it, I started taking B12 and Vit-D and I haven't been taking my allergy medicine.
I'm just a little concerned.
my therapist had told me I could get screened for it but the only place she recommended is where I'm doing my clinical next year and i don't want to go for that there.
I'm going to try to moniter my mood more closely and see what happens.
I don;t know what kind of advice I'm looking for, i guess I'm more venting..
alright thanks. ha.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Have you read "An Unquiet Mind" by Kay Redfield? She is a Psych doc with BP, it describes her life and how she deals with it personally and professionally. She actually has one of her colleagues diagnose and treat her. You might really benefit from reading this book. She goes into detail about her BP symptoms. Might help put things into perspective.
thank you again.
My sister is actually going into Forensic Psych.
It might also be a good idea to start a mood diary, drink a lot of water, take a multi vitamin and maybe Omega3 (fish oil)...promotes brain health and lowers cholesterol.
Good Luck to you!
