My son has Aspergers and depression. At times he is very hyper and he can't sleep at night. He has started getting paranoid, thinking that we are going to hurt him. He believes he can see the future and has taken to sleeping rough. He has told his teacher that he is at risk at home when nothing is further from the truth. We have spend thousands of dollars getting him therapy for his Aspergers. He is very much loved and I find his accusations totally devastating. He is highly intelligent and can be very convincing. The worst thing is that his psychiatrist, who has only met him a couple of times, has decided that he is merely a bit depressed. I don't understand. I just want to help him and am very worried.
