Hi me again about the antipyschotics. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with these drugs? I'm on zyprexa but afraid of the weight gain. My pdoc sez that Abilify and Geodon don't make you gain weight, but they also don't work as well. The thoughts racing thru my head were so disturbing that I went for the Zyprexa but now my clothes are getting tight despite working out and eating better!
Thanks in advance! :)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Geodon and Abilify made me go SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO manic!!! Watch out!
I tried Geodon next, at first it knocked me out cold so I took it before bed. Slept well, felt ok during the day. It started to level out for about 2 months then I noticed more agression and agitation. I had a meltdown in the third month that has scared ever since. During Geodon. I lost my appetite and ending up losing 40 lbs. When I went off of it, I developed insomnia and anxiety. It was horrible. It took awhile to get my appetite back. Look abviously it works for some and for some not.
