Tomorrow I have my first therapy session. I am scared shitless!!! The last time I was at one they told me i need to spend more time thinking about others instead of myself. Did I mention i'm scared?! My friend is coming with and she said she'd go in with me or just wait in the waiting room. I don't know if she should come in or not.
Any words of encouragement and or advice and what to expect would be greatly appreciated.
BTW- Did I mention I'm SCARED!!!!!!

I've never heard of any therapists eating their patients. In fact, they are generally pretty nice folks. They are therapists because they want to help people.
No fear, be yourself, get a good nights sleep tonight and you'll be fine.
If you don't like this therapist you can always find another one.
I'm sure you're new therapist will be much better than your last one, explain to them your fears and they should be able to help
Good luck x
Just tell him how scared you are, then take it from there.
..unless of course you walk into the office and find a collection of swords on the wall, some with a dry redish substance on them, bloody towels in the trash can and your tdoc wearing a hockey goalie mask, sharpening a knife and whistling "Whistle while you work" while he watches you come in...
...in that case, you would be screwed
