I've been on this site for about a month. Reading what everyone says about various issues. I have gotten into some discussions. It makes me feel better when I'm on this site.....but....it seems to me that everyone that has this disorder simply lives in different degrees of unhappiness. I have my first appointment with my pdoc tomorrow morning at 9 and don't want to follow through with it. It just seems that no matter what treatment anyone is on that the out come is the same - just different degrees of unhappiness.
I want so badly to be happy but it just doesn't seem possible.
Any advice????????? (or just something to make me feel less hopeless?)

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
BP for many people does still bring ups and downs even though you are on meds. The meds just cut down the severity of the ups and downs. There is no cure for BP, only treatment.
But, if you're not feeling your best, it might be a good idea to consult your pdoc.
This site is a place where we can all go to vent, but there are a lot of funny threads here, too.
I think you are freaking out about your appointment. I can't wait to hear from you tomorrow after the appt. the great and powerful baggy knees predicts that you will be tired but feeling much better!
