I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. a lot of people have it and don't know. i found out b/c my husband told me that i would stop breathing while i was sleeping. so i did a sleep study. my brain was waking my body up every 5 minutes to breathe. Further, I had no REM sleep. I bring this up because the symptoms of sleep apnea mimick emotional problems. Moodiness, irritability, lack of concentration, morning headaches are all symptoms of sleep apnea. Basically you're not really getting any beneficial sleep and it seems lack of sleep is a trigger for a lot of people with bp.
