Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
But now that I think about it ....maybe the end of Jan...I suppose there is a record of it somewhere.
You know: D.S. MEMEBER SINCE FEB 07.
How long will I stay?I guess untill I get bored of answering the same old "AM I BIPOLAR" questian!LOL!!
This site is just about 1 year old,and I think it must be pretty successful,my Pdoc is now telling his patients about it.I'm so far out in the stix, there are no bipolar support groups within 100 miles of his ofice. As it is,I have to drive almost 50 miles to get to his office. In my town ,there are only 2 Pdocs. One,takes no insurance.
The other only takes welfare or medicare ,medical patients.
Of course ,now I don't have insurance,so I guess I could go to the local guy(since I pay cash anyway),but you know how it is.Stay with your Pdoc long enough, and you get really attached....kinda like how I feel about DS!!
I plan to stay until someone pisses me off! Oh wait, that already happened...UMMMM...
I plan on staying - hey, "recovery" is about getting to a stable place AND sharing what I've learned with others. Oh my, it's not all about ME!!
