As a few of you know I have a younger sister who has refused to get out of bed for two yrs now. I mean literally NOT getting out of bed. She now smokes up to four packs a day and gets up to go to the bathroom and that's it. She rarely takes a bath. She's been to the pdoc and has been diagnosed with clinical depression but refuses to take her medications. Her body is wasting away! She is 5'7" and weighs 103lbs. We have put her in the hospital twice only having her hate us for it. I'm at a loss! I have guardianship of her daughter and she lost custody of her other daughter because of this. She is going to die and I dont know what to do. She is a registered nurse and knows how detrimental her situation is but still refuses any to get up. Any suggestions?
